ALAN E. BAUGHMAN


PERSONAL: 
Spent much of my growing up
years overseas, lived in the
Midwest, North Carolina, and
Tennessee, with the last 25
years here in Texas.

EDUCATION:

Studied Art History, painting,
drawing, and sculpture at Bryan
College. Also studied advertising
art and design.

HISTORY:
Sculpting the last 30 years in
steel, bronze, and terra-cotta.
Public commissions include: a
welded steel bust of the founder
of Summer Institute of Linguistics
unveiled in Washington D. C at
the UNESCO Awards, a bust of
a former President of Mexico in
a museum in North Carolina, a
monumental set of relief figures
in clay at the Mailer building in
Dallas, a welded monumental
long horn steer for the Trammel
Crow company in Fort Worth, a
large copper sculpture for the
Double Tree Hotel in Dallas, and a
seventeen foot sculpture for the
Letourneau University in east
Texas. And more recently, the
Stations of The Cross at the Holy
Angels Catholic Church in San
Angelo, Our Lady Of Guadalupe Church in Slaton, Texas, and
Church Of The Good Shepherd in
Cedar Hill, Texas.

Private sales include: bronzes,
steel, clay sculptures, and wood
carvings in Texas, New Mexico,
Colorado, North Carolina,
Tennessee, and Virginia.
